The goal of the Conference on Crimes Against Women is to provide practical instruction, using current information, the newest ideas and most successful intervention strategies, to those professionals responsible for combating the many and varied forms of crimes against women.
360° View on Crimes Against Women. Our long-term goal is to eliminate violence against women and children in every community. We will achieve this by arming police officers, prosecutors and victim advocates with the information needed to identify, investigate and prosecute difficult cases successfully. Each year, we are one step closer to creating national change to this global problem. We present a sophisticated, inspiring educational forum of best practices, victim-centered policies, promotion of multi-disciplinary dialogue and collaborative community models, and provide real-life tools and strategies to the many professionals to take back to their own communities.
The conference is conducted for the sole purpose of providing training to only those people employed by governmental or non-profit agencies in the fields of law enforcement, prosecution, social work, victim's advocacy, therapy, probation/parole, campus safety and medicine who work directly with victims of crime.
